RWGA Championships at Narrandera
The RWGA Championships were held at Narrandera Golf Club over three days this week. Seventy three ladies from thirteen Riverina Golf Clubs and one each from Coffs Harbour and Goulburn Golf Clubs enjoyed the challenging Narrandera course as well as the camaraderie of the event.
The Riverina Cup 54 holes scratch event was won by Glenda Hoskin from Howlong with a score of 256. Glenda also won the Open Cup and the Champion of Champions Trophy with some lovely golf played over three days. Glenda had the best 18 holes scratch score for Division One and took out the Vedas Ebert Jug. Congratulations Glenda!

The Sunday night welcome BBQ and Trivia was memorable as the huge storm hit and we lost power so finished with torch light from all our phones! Our Presentation Dinner was delicious and great to see all the winners on the night. Dancing and fun followed.
The RWGA would like to thank all those at Narrandera Golf Club who helped make the event such a success. The many volunteers and the very few paid staff put in many hours of work to ensure that everything ran smoothly each day.
