RWGA Meetings Survey
RWGA hold two meetings per year (one in March and one in October). These meetings take approx. 1 – ½ hrs and are unfortunately poorly supported by many clubs within the RWGA area. Given that there are only the two meetings per year it takes approximately 8-10 hrs per year to attend these meetings (travel time included). These meetings are a vital component for all clubs to have input into ladies golf in the RWGA. At our March meeting this year we only had 50% of clubs represented.
· What are the main contributing factors in non attendance by a representative of your Club?
· Does your Club have any ideas on how to build attendance at these bi-annual meetings?
· Is ride sharing / car pooling an option? – e.g. Thurgoona, Albury & Jindera travel together
· If your Clubs’ nominated representative is unable to attend – what are the factors hindering your Club sending an alternative representative?
· Does your Club envisage that travels costs are an inhibiting factor in meeting attendance?
