RLGA Championships at WWCC

Congratulations Tegan Bruce from Thurgoona on being the 2014 Champion.

The competition was very close and it took a steady approach to be consistent over the 3 days of competition. Tegan recorded scores of 88, 88 and 82 to win by 1 shot from Gail O''Halloran from Deniliquin and Di Brown from Wagga Wagga Country on 259.  Close behind on 260 was Sue Eisenhauer (Howlong) and on 261 Cathy Haggar from Wagga Wagga Country.

Division 3/4 winner Peta Carter (WWCC) 94,97,92 won the Wray McLeish Salver

Pat Castine (WWCC) won Division5.  Helen Patterson won the Senior Veteran Event and Megan Carter (WWCC) the Veteran Event.

RLGA was delighted to host GNSW representative Sue Fabian for the championship and presentation dinner.  The theme of 'It''s Entertainment'" was embraced by many with fantastic costumes being worn. President Marg or should I say Dame Marg looking fabulous in her spectacular glasses and carrying her famous gladioli welcomed everyone.  The presence of Her royal highness and his majesty along with the corgi added a special something to the dinner.
