Short Game at Corowa

Corowa’s golf development group appreciated RLGA grant
Corowa ladies got straight to business following RLGA’s approval of their golf development application. Keen to improve their skills sixteen ladies participated in the program. The five one hour lessons on Sunday afternoons were ideally timed to coincide with daylight saving.
Experience and handicap ranged from beginner on handicap 45 to club champion. Corowa’s assistant professional Paul Steiner organised two groups to meet the individual needs of participants. Lessons focused on short game techniques. Week one was putting followed by chipping, pitching, bunkers and last lesson playing nine holes with Paul who offered further advice and support to implement skills developed during lessons.
